Crow's feet

For many people, crow’s feet are the first signs of aging to appear on their faces, often making them look years older than they actually are. While it may be tempting to consider plastic surgery as a solution, injectable treatments and other non-surgical solutions offer an alternative that is often superior, especially for those who don’t require or wish to undergo more invasive procedures.
If you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your face due to fine lines that extend outward from the corners of your eyes, we invite you to explore the treatment options for crow’s feet available at us, our doctor will explain your treatment options to you in detail, and together, you and the doctor will arrive at a personalized treatment plan that is just right for you.
Let’s be honest - crow’s feet are literally and metaphorically for the birds. You don’t have to live with these premature signs of aging any longer. Contact a dermatologist to start initial consultation.

BOTOX® Cosmetic
The most popular and effective injectable treatment for crow’s lines is BOTOX® Cosmetic, which has been used for years to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in the upper part of the face. This included the treatment of crow’s feet, although its use in such cases was off-label. In 2013, however, the FDA approved the use BOTOX® Cosmetic in the treatment of crow’s feet, making it the only injectable treatment to have gained such approval to date.
One of the reasons that BOTOX® Cosmetic is so effective in treating crow’s feet is that it is not a dermal filler. Rather, BOTOX® Cosmetic is a form of a toxin called botulinum toxin type A that, in a highly purified state, is safe to inject into the skin. . Many doctors inject BOTOX® Cosmetic into the muscles responsible for crow’s feet, temporarily paralyzing them so that they cannot contract. As a result, crow’s feet soften, and the area around the eyes is completely rejuvenated.
In most cases, the results of BOTOX® Cosmetic last between four and six months, at which point the injections can safely be repeated. During this period, crow’s feet will be dramatically less visible. At the same time, however, the injections will not in any way affect the muscles responsible for other facial expressions and for essential motions such as opening and closing the eyes.

Laser Skin Treatments
Often used in conjunction with BOTOX® therapy, laser skin treatments with our safe but powerful Cynosure Cynergy™ ND:YAG and pulsed dye lasers can be used to remove the outer layers of damaged skin and reveal the smoother, healthier, more youthful skin underneath. This can help to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet and other fine lines and wrinkles.
